With an application, we will check if the costs are covered by a health insurer. We will look if the reimbursements of the group health insurance that the Almere Municipality offers people with a low income. This is the health insurance of VGZ. We always compare the supplementary municipal package Compleet during our review.
If the costs are covered from the VGZ municipal package Compleet, then you will not receive special assistance. This is also the case if you have another supplementary package with Mensis or another supplementary package from another health insurer. Costs that can be covered are, for example, batteries for hearing aids or the costs for a special diet (on medical advice).
We never reimburse the premium for health insurance and the compulsory excess/deductible (eigen risico).
