Almere has various centres with sufficient parking opportunities close to all shops and entertainment establishments. Almere has invested in good, safe, and clean multi-storey car parks and outdoor car parks. If you choose for street parking, then you can on your phone or register your licence plate on the parking meter.
In the schilwijken you can park for free in the first hour, after you registered your licence plate.
Parking is cheapest in the multi-storey car parks and the outdoor car parks. Parking on the road is more expensive, see parking fees.

In Almere Buiten the parking fees on the road and in the car parks are the same, see parking fees. A day ticket in Almere Buiten is valid on the day of purchase only, from 00:00 o'clock to the next calendar day. You can also purchase a parking ticket for multiple days (maximum of 7 days) at the ticket dispensers on the road.
On the street you can pay with a parking app or at the parking machine with a debit card or coins. In the car parks you can pay with debit card, credit card, coins and paper bills.
A blue zone may apply in areas where you can park at no cost. In this zone you can only park for a short time with a parking disc.
The blue zone is valid on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 09:00-22:00 o'clock, from Thursday to Saturday from 09:00-00:00 o'clock, and on Sunday from 12:00-17:00 o'clock. With a parking disc you can park for 1 hour.
Charging points for your electric car are available at various locations throughout Almere. Not just on the road, but also in most car parks. Go to oplaadpalen.nl for an overview of the charging stations and availability.
