By bike to the city or the station? Please make use of the bicycle sheds. Here you can park your bike for free, dry and safe. 

Bicycle storage in Almere Stad

There are five municipal bicycle parking facilities in Almere Stad. Three of the parking facilities in Almere Stad are guarded by camera surveillance: Hospitaaldreef, Schrijverstraat and Stadhuispromenade. You need a bike parking pass (‘fietspas’) or QR code to enter and exit these facilities. The parking facilities on the Brouwerstraat and the Esplanade are unguarded parking facilities. Our bicycle parking facilities are open 24/7.

Bike parking pass

Do you want to park you bicycle at the Hospitaaldreef, Schrijverstraat, or Stadhuispromenade bicycle parking facility? Use the bike parking pass. You pay € 5 for the pass, or use the free QR code to enter and exit the parking facility. The municipal bicycle sheds are managed by Parking Service. Bicycle sheds at the train station

At train station Almere Centrum you will find two guarded bicycle sheds. The NS manages these bicycle sheds.

Bicycle storage in Almere Buiten

In Almere Buiten there is a large bicycle shed at Baltimoreplein 122, next to the library and close to the Almere Buiten railway station. The shed can accommodate more than 1,000 bicycles and 40 mopeds. The shed is open 7 days a week and 24 hours a day. To increase your safety and that of your bicycle, the shed is equipped with access gates. You therefore need an access pass to store your bicycle.

You pay a deposit of € 5 for the access pass, which you will get back when you return the pass. The easiest way to apply for the pass is via the Digital Parking Desk (website is Dutch only). After payment via iDEAL you will automatically receive the pass at home. The pass is also available at Parking Service in Almere Stad and at 2wielercentre, the bicycle shop next to the parking facility.

Bicycle gone?

Bicycles and mopeds that are parked incorrectly are removed and taken to the Bike Depot.
