If you live in a low-rise property, in most cases you should use the waste containers which form part of your property in order to have your waste collected. In some neighborhoods only underground containers are used. You need to request these containers yourself if you’re moving into a new property with waste containers at the property.

This form is only available in Dutch.
The paper container is not required, as you also have the option of using the underground containers for paper and cardboard. If you would like to have one, you can also easily order it via the online container request form above.
Every household can request an additional container for organic waste (gft), paper or plastic and metal/tin packaging and drinking cartons (pmd). To request these containers, use the form Request waste container (in Dutch). It's not possible to request an additional container for residual waste.
In certain cases you can obtain an extra container for medical waste: incontinence products and ostomy equipment and supplies.
