Request new or additional waste containers

Do you live in a low-rise building without any waste containers? Check to see if the neighbouring buildings have waste containers at their house. These containers are mandatory for the purpose of waste sorting.

These 2 waste containers are mandatory:

  • A gft container for organic waste
  • A rest+pmd-container for residual waste, plastic and metal/tin packaging and drinking cartons

This form is only available in Dutch.

Paper container

The paper container is not mandatory. You can bring paper and carton to under- and aboveground containers or share a paper container with your neighbours. If you would like to have one, you can easily do so via the form Request container

Additional container

Every household can request an additional container for organic waste (gft) or paper. To request these containers, use the form Request waste container (in Dutch). It's not possible to request an additional container for residual waste, plastic and metal/tin packaging and drinking cartons (rest+pmd).

Medical waste container

You can also request a medical waste container. The container can be used for incontinence and stoma materials, disposable bed pads, washcloths, pantyliners and bandages. The medical waste container can be placed next to the rest+pmd-container for disposal.

The medical waste container can only be requested by calling 14 036.

How long does it take?

You will receive an email within 5 workdays where we will give you a date of delivery. There is no need to stay at home for this.
