Almere is a city for everyone. Still, not all residents have the same opportunities or possibilities to participate. With the grant scheme "Netwerkversterking Diversiteit & Inclusie" (Network Strengthening Diversity & Inclusion), the municipality seeks to fight against exclusion and discrimination.
We support initiatives that contribute to a society in which everyone feels valued and is able to participate. We also pay attention to how a past of colonialism and slavery have brought about inequality that still affects people today.

Everyone can apply for a grant: residents as well as organisations.
The maximum grant amount ranges from €15,000 to €30,000, depending on who applies:
A total of €300,000 is available.
This means: first come, first served. When the budget is gone, it’s gone.
