Parking businesses and employees

Employees and businesses in a paid parking zone can apply for a subscription with the Parking Service with which they can park in one of the multi-storey car parks. Various types of business subscriptions are available:

a subscription for 3 days a week (with time restriction) for employees. The 3-day subscription with time restriction is valid on 3 working days previously specified by you (Monday through Friday) from 07:00 until 19:00 o’clock. During other hours the card is valid as a short-stay parking ticket and you can pay the additional amount at the ticket dispenser. For instance, if you leave at 20:00 o;clock then you pay the short-stay parking fee from 19:00 until 20:00 o’clock.
a subscription for 5 days a week (with time restriction) for employees and businesses;
a subscription for 7 days a week (without time restriction) for employees and businesses. The subscription without time restriction is valid 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

A subscription in one of the multi-storey car parks in Almere Buiten is valid until 22:00 o’clock in the evening.

Subscription all multi-storey car parks Almere Stad

Apart from the subscriptions that are only valid in a specific multi-storey car park, there is also a general subscription. This allows you to park in all public multi-storey car parks in the city centre of Almere Stad.

Employee permit city centre Almere Buiten

For employees in the city centre zone of Almere Buiten it is also possible to apply for an employee permit. This allows you to park on the road at the Miamistraat and along the north side of the Torontoweg.

Keep the following data / documents at hand when you apply:

Documents required for entrepreneurs

(A copy of) an extract from the Chamber of Commerce;
(A copy of) the original registration certificate of the motor vehicle, part IB;
A valid identity document (driving licence, identity card or passport) of the applicant.
In case of a lease car:
- A lease agreement in the name of the applicant or a lease agreement in the name of the company and an employment agreement and an employer’s statement from which it becomes apparent that the car has, in terms of its use, exclusively been made available to the applicant.
If the motor vehicle is not registered in your name then you require a driver’s statement in which the party in whose name the motor vehicle is registered authorises you to use the vehicle.

You can also apply for the permit or the subscription at the service counter at the Parking Service. Do not forget to bring along the aforementioned documents and your DigiD code.

To meet employees with irregular working hours, there is also a value card (former strip ticket). This allows you to park economically at the multi-storey car parks in the paid parking zones of Almere Stad or Almere Buiten.

Order value card online

You can also pick up the value card at the service counter at the Parking Service. The value card costs € 5,00 when purchased.

Topping up the balance

After purchase, you can top up the value card by an amount of your choice at every ticket dispenser in a multi-storey car park or at an outdoor car park. When leaving the multi-storey car park or the outdoor car park, the exit terminal deducts the payable amount from the balance. When the card is empty you simply top it up again at a ticket dispenser in a municipal multi-storey car park or at an outdoor car park.

The city centre area of Almere Stad is closed with dynamic bollards. You need a card to enter this area with a car. Residents who live and businesses that are established in this area qualify for a card.

The pass can be picked up at the service counter of the Parking Service.

What do you need for a card?

Residents: you must be able to demonstrate that you live in the area with a tenancy or sale and purchase agreement or an extract from the GBA (Municipal Personal Records Database) and a valid identity document.
Businesses: an extract from the Chamber of Commerce that is not older than three months and a valid identity document of the contact person of the business.
