The childcare workers who are employed at a preschool have had an education that allows them to guide and stimulate the development of toddlers. They do this on the areas of language, preliminary arithmetic, motor skills and social-emotional skills.
They can see exactly what your child is already good at and where your child might need some extra attention. In every class there are 2 childcare workers for a maximum of 16 toddlers. They will ensure that every child will get the maximal amount of attention.
The childcare workers will include you by sharing your child’s development. They will give tips about activities and games so that you can then do them at home with your child.
Would you also like to play and learn with your child at home? Then you can contact De Schoor and ask for the different play-and-learn activities that are organised in your neighbourhood.
“At preschool, my son Ezra learnt how to play with other children. We saw an enormous growth in his language skills because he received the extra attention he needed at preschool. The transition to primary school also went very well thanks to the fact that Ezra was used to spending 4 half-days at preschool. He was also used to the rhythm, school activities and listening to a childcare worker. Through play he learnt so much.”
